Pecan Springs Ranch

Pecan Springs has worked hard to keep the property as natural as possible, using materials found right on the land. Even the original fireplace from the 1800’s has been reconstructed with rock found on the property as one of the ceremony spots. They have also taken steps to preserve the 1800’s-era log cabin. They used reclaimed pine from the Bastrop fires as the exposed trusses in the main building, which makes it very special to them and the visitors. Throughout the property and the buildings you will see reclaimed barn wood used as doors, and reclaimed doors used throughout the property.

They have planted wild flower seed all over the 17 acres; and spring should be full of color, perfect for breathtaking photos. Native plants have been used in all of the landscaping to preserve the local flora. Of course, as you may tell from the name, there are many native pecan trees.

As if that weren’t enough, the property also has wild turkey and deer everywhere. They are beautiful to watch and photograph. Pecan Springs Ranch is truly a dream come true for a wedding or event.
