The Marquardt Ranch

What started as a family ranch—a working ranch for over 100 years—is now also an exquisite event venue. The outdoor space was discovered after the president of the ranch took a chainsaw to dense cedar and brush and cleared out an area of the bluff overlooking an old swimming hole.

The Marquardt Ranch is framed by views of the Guadalupe River. The ranch house was constructed in the 1890s and the ranch itself is now primarily used by family for recreation, wildlife appreciation and social events.

The ranch offers a number of all-inclusive services for weddings, including their outdoor venue on the bluff and indoor venue/reception hall complete with an 11 foot glass cross against a majestic rock wall. With separate bride and groom suites and their own party bus—guests note the convenience of heading to-and-from the venue as a group—making planning any celebration a breeze.

Additionally, linens, uplights, parking, and set up and breakdown of tables and chairs is included. There is a one hour rehearsal slot included and events can last for five hours. They have an in-house florist, DJ services and catering (including packages and a la carte offerings). You can provide your own alcohol, but it must be served by professional TABC certified bartenders. The venue will provide a list of suggested vendors for any coordinating needs.

Rates vary by day and season, but can range from $2,500 to $5,500. Again, because the rentals include access to both outdoor and indoor event space and many other inclusive offerings, rates cover more than simply a space rental. The experienced staff will work with you to customize the space to execute your vision to a tee.
