Smythwick Castle and Lodge

Smythwick Castle & Lodge is a country castle on 10 acres that are filled with waterfalls, ponds and grand old Oak trees. The Castle offers a picturesque setting for a lavish & elegant wedding day, anniversary, girls weekend, corporate party, etc.

Stone fireplaces, a turret and a unique old world brick courtyard with an elegant fountain will add a romantic ambiance to any Wedding Day or celebration. The more formal Grand Hall with its crystal Chandeliers, large stone fireplace, picture windows and beautiful draperies lends itself to all occasions. Our beautiful Gazebo, roses, towering Oaks and Peacocks will make any occasion special. Then slip into the hot tub and later into one of the luxurious bedrooms to enjoy a serene weekend with friends, family or a romantic wedding day and night.

There are several indoor and outdoor ceremony sites to accommodate your wedding or banquet needs. Tents are also welcome if you desire a larger affair. The Old World Atmosphere makes Smythwick Castle & Lodge a place where events are never forgotten, dreams come true and lasting memories are made!

There are no required vendors. We do offer customized all inclusive packages that include onsite Catering and Wedding Cakes thru Bittersweet Cakes & Catering. We cap our capacity at 125-150 and have onsite accommodations for 10-12 people.

Our Ceremony site, which can also be used as a reception area, is outdoor and has a gazebo that will be decorated in organza swags for the wedding day and is under a beautiful canopy of Live Oak trees that are 50+ years old. This area could easily accommodate 150 guests for a reception.

We also have a breathtaking courtyard that is lit up at night with twinkle lights–this space can easily seat 70 guests. Adjacent to the courtyard is our ballroom that is generally used for dancing, bar area and the DJ area–this is all enclosed. Then when you go through the 2 sets of French doors after dancing the night away you will be in another out door area that is behind our turreted wall, is beautifully lighted, can seat approx. 125 guests and boasts a beautiful 8′ wrought Iron Gate that is thrown open for your send off at the end of the evening.

Our pricing is $2,500 for Saturdays. If you book the Castle for the night you will receive a $100 discount off our overnight rate.
