Ma Maison

French for ‘my house,’ Ma Maison is a family-owned and operated venue, located just outside of Austin in nearby Dripping Springs. The space plays on the family’s strong French heritage and offers warm and inviting Southern hospitality to all who set foot on the property.

Nestled on a breezy hill dotted with beautiful oaks, this hill country venue transports you to a Provence-like region of southern France. Features include Lac Moise—a 2 acre lake with a lit fountain—and three outdoor garden ceremony sites: Lac View, The Grove and The Green Cathedral, an antique reclaimed French gazebo. Because they’ve thought of everything, a covered trellis offers a backup plan in case of rain. The grand reception hall is completed with sky-high ceilings and gorgeous chandeliers.

Rental costs range from $5,500 to $7,900 for the venue depending on the day and season, and the staff has prepared many accents including folding fruitwood and fruitwood chiavari chairs, tables, portable wooden bars and wine barrels. Only one event is allowed per day, so you are guaranteed exclusive use of the property, and events get a 10 hour block on event day, a one hour rehearsal block and one hour bridal shoot to be scheduled around other events.

Ma Maison does have a preferred vendor list they provide as a suggestion, though it is important to know that you must choose one of their approved caterers. You can provide your own alcohol—that must be served by a TABC bartender—which serves as just one example of the flexibility the space offers.

Whether your event has 50 or 500 guests, Ma Maison has the space to accommodate any occasion. They can seat 300 inside with a dance floor and can accommodate 300 on the covered trellis.

Guests note the winding drive to reach the venue, but once there, the elegance of the secluded space made them never want to leave. They mention the wildflowers and vintage ambiance as a memorable part of the venue, along with the clear vision that the staff provides to help execute any event.
