Falkenstein Castle

Like a scene right out of a fairytale, Falkenstein Castle is set above the rolling Texas Hill Country about 50 minutes outside of Austin between Burnet and Marble Falls. Built in 1996, the German inspired architecture makes this a truly magical venue for your big day.

Falkenstein Castle is set among 113 acres of preserved Texas parkland and on a clear day, there is a 360 degree view from the castle that extends 30 miles in every direction. Within the property’s white limestone walls, there are 4 acres for you and your guests to explore. Two notable features on the property include the tranquil lily pond and secluded butterfly garden that is home to over 150 varieties of wildflowers and herbs.

The venue offers a $4,000 wedding package that includes all-day access on the date of your event, two hours of rehearsal time, wedding coordinator, photographers, and a ceremony and reception space. The wedding coordinator’s goal is to make the wedding planning process as easy as possible for you. They work with you from the initial stages of planning all the way through the event itself. Additionally, the wedding coordinator is very knowledgeable with local vendors and can assist you when selecting vendors.

The on-site ceremony space is set within a Gothic-style chapel complete with a 35 ft. tall ceiling, magnificent arched doors and features a hand carved French Gothic altar. The chapel can comfortably seat 195 guests with the ability to add additional seating if needed.

The reception center is located off-site adjacent to Burnet’s river walk in the main part of the town. It is conveniently located close to the town’s center with plenty of lodging options available to your out of town guests.
