Bob's Steak & Chop House - Event Rental

Though you’ll also find Bob’s Steak and Chop House in Dallas, this is definitely not a chain restaurant. The space is known for serving up some of the best prime cuts of steak in town and their rooftop lounge offers up some seriously stunning views of downtown Austin.

There are multiple event spaces available at Bob’s Steak and Chop House, and private dining is available Monday-Saturday for dinner, while lunch and Sunday are reserved for special events only. You can discuss availability and your desired event time with the staff.

The main event space is the Capitol Room, which can be used as a whole or divided into two separate rooms, the Texas Room and the Mexico Room. This means they are able to accommodate a wide number of guests. The Capitol Room can seat up to 90 guests, the Texas Room seats a maximum of 55 gusts and the Mexico room seats up to 25 guests.

Friday and Saturday

In addition to the indoor event space, you can also rent their rooftop lounge and bar. Bob’s Steak and Chop House is located downtown on Lavaca Street, so their roof lounge serves up views of the skyline. You can rent the space for an hour or for the entire night, depending on your needs.

Roof Lounge for 1 hour—$500
Roof Lounge for 2 hours—$1,500
Roof Lounge for 3 hours—$2,000
Roof Lounge for the entire evening—$3,000
Roof Lounge and Bar for the entire evening—$10,000

When it comes to your menu, you can select one of their Prix Fixe menus for your event, priced per person. However, should your party contain less than 20 guests, you may order from their a la carte dinner menu. It is important to know that sales tax and a 20 percent service charge will be added to all private or semi-private events. Valet parking is also available, and for convenience, can be added to any final bill (for nighttime events only).

The space also has audio visual equipment available. They offer complimentary 65-inch flat screen TVs and AV cables for PC and Mac computers. Any additional audio visual needs are outsource and charged accordingly.

Guests note the upscale environment and stunning views offered upstairs on the rooftop lounge, something you don’t usually find at a steakhouse.
